Tests and results

How it works

Every test goes through the same stages, and the patient sees a result in the portal only after it has been released.

• Ordered, no result yet
• Awaiting review: a result has been added.
• Under review
• Reviewed, not released to the patient
• Released to the patient

Order a test

   Open the patient and the tab Results & files, or press Order a test after a visit.

   Under Order a test choose the Type: Laboratory, Imaging or Other.

   Write the Test name, an optional Clinical note (optional), and choose the Reviewing doctor.

   Press Place order. Only a doctor can order a test.

Add the result

1. 1

   If the result is a file, first upload it to the patient (Add a file to this patient).

   On the order press Add the result.

   Write the Result summary as the result says. No value is generated for you. If there is a file, choose it under A stored patient file (optional).

   Press Save result.

Review and release

1. 1

   The reviewing doctor finds the order on Today under Results awaiting your review, or in the list Results and tests with the filter Waiting for my review.

2. 2

   Open the record and press Record review. Write a Review note (optional) if you wish and press I have reviewed this result.

3. 3

   Press Release to the patient and then Release now.
