Join an online visit

Use your private link, wait in the waiting room, join when the doctor lets you in, and know the rules of the call.

Your private link

  • When you book an online visit the page shows your link under Your visit link. Keep it: it is how you enter the waiting room, and it is not sent anywhere else.
  • The clinic's reminders and the calendar file do not contain the link. Save it, or keep the confirmation page.
  • Keep the link private. Anyone who has it can reach your waiting room.

Join the visit

  1. Open the link up to 15 minutes before the visit. Before that the page says that it is not time yet.

  2. Press Enter the waiting room.

  3. Keep the page open. It says that you are in the waiting room and are waiting for the doctor to let you in.

  4. When the doctor lets you in, press Start the call. If the browser asks for the camera and the microphone, allow them.

  5. If the connection is weak, press Join with audio only (weak connection). If it drops, use the button on the page to rejoin.

The rules

  • An online consultation is not for emergencies. In an emergency call your local emergency service.
  • The call is not recorded, in sound or picture, and what you say is not transcribed.
  • The room closes by itself 15 minutes after the scheduled end of the visit. It is never extended, and arriving late does not extend it.
  • If the doctor did not admit you, the page says so. You can call the clinic.
  • If a guardian will attend with you, say so when you book.
